Headline insights
The top three changed order for the first time this year: Ausure is now third on ARs + CARs, and second on CARs alone.Ausure went 542 → 636 in August, passing McLardy McShane (577 → 587); on CARs it went 185 → 217, behind only Community Broker Network (332) and ahead of Insurance Advisernet (202). It was sixth in May, at 229: of the 435 appointments added since January, 408 came from Resilium (249) and PSC Connect (159), and two-thirds of today's Ausure ARs arrived this year.
The flip side: Resilium now holds 0 reps and PSC Connect 8.Resilium peaked at about 646 in March 2020, began 2026 with about 488 and recorded its final cessation on 7 August; PSC Connect peaked at 381 in February 2021 and began the year with 232. Steadfast's purchase of both networks from Envest was reported in April, and the register shows 408 appointments moving into Ausure since January. PSC Connect appears in the tables below under its licence name, Fermer Insurance Brokers.
Two models of growth: McLardy McShane recruits, Ausure acquires.McLardy McShane, now fourth, took on 13 individual ARs in August, the largest intake of any network, and two-thirds of its 2026 additions are first-time registrations — a cohort with fewer fixed licensee habits, whose process standards and culture the network gets to define. Ausure reached the same size by transfer, with a median AR tenure of 9.0 years: brokers who already know how to place risk, bring their client relationships with them, and need light supervision rather than training.
